Quarter-turn metal-to-metal modules
Earlier rugged products could lose magnetic modules on a hard hit. PROLUX Rugged uses a quarter-turn metal-to-metal interlock so modules stay on the wall and still service from the front.

LED displays for education campuses
Campus gyms and multi-purpose rooms are used for instruction, assembly, and sport. XL AV specifies an indoor LED wall that can do that work, with audio, lighting, and control specified with the display.
Campus gyms and multi-purpose rooms
A sealed numeric scoreboard cannot run a lecture overflow, a bond presentation, or an assembly. A 16:9 indoor wall can, if scoring is treated as a layout and staff can switch modes.
XL AV specifies LUXVISION PROLUX Rugged for gyms and impact-prone multi-purpose rooms on education campuses. Classroom and lecture-hall standards are a separate drawing. We do both when the campus wants a complete system.
Specified so staff can run it
Campus technologists and the people who actually open the gym should not need a vendor on site to start an assembly. We specify the operator path and train at commissioning.
Front service, fanless supplies, and onsite spare modules are the repair model when the wall sits tight to structure.
Lighting
Assembly lighting and PE lighting are different. The wall has to read in both. We operate PROLUX Rugged around 2,100 nits and coordinate scenes when lighting control is in the project.
Sound
Speech for assemblies has to be understood from the back of the gym. We specify or integrate PA and program audio with the wall.
Control
Instructional, athletic, and facilities users should share a control path. LUXVISION typically uses NovaStar processing. Staff are trained at commissioning.
How we deliver the project
We start with the room: dimensions, viewing distance, how it is used, structure, power, and whether audio, lighting, and live video are in the project. Then design documents, coordination with the facilities team, installation, commissioning, and operator training. Spare modules stay on site so a failed cabinet is swapped, not left dark.

7-year sports-impact warranty
Current PROLUX Rugged warranty context is 7 years, including impact from air-inflated sports balls over 6 inches in diameter, subject to manufacturer terms.
Full front service
Modules, cabling, and feeder access are designed from the front. That is required when a gym display is mounted tight to a wall with no rear aisle.
Fanless thermal design
Gyms collect dust. Fans ingest that dust and then fail. PROLUX Rugged uses the cabinet as a heat sink with Mean Well supplies. There is no cooling fan in the documented architecture.
Under-driven, efficient LEDs
Pixels capable of about 3,900 nits are operated around 2,100 nits. The intent is less heat and less electrical infrastructure than driving the diodes to their maximum.
Repairable hardware
Locking power and data cables replace hub boards. Neutrik-style power and Cat6 keystone data keep field repairs inside normal technician practice.
