Earlier rugged products could lose magnetic modules on a hard hit. PROLUX Rugged uses a quarter-turn metal-to-metal interlock so modules stay on the wall and still service from the front.

LED displays for basketball facilities
Basketball gyms hit the wall. XL AV specifies an indoor LED display built for that load, with game presentation, practice video, and the rest of the facility calendar on one canvas.
Designed for impact from air-inflated balls over 6 inches in diameter
Balls reach the display during practice, camps, and open gym. The face, trim, and module retention have to be specified for impact from air-inflated balls over 6 inches in diameter, or the wall becomes a maintenance problem.

Game night and shootaround on the same wall
Scoring, introductions, timeout video, and sponsor loops are layouts. Practice film and camp graphics use the same canvas. That only works if control is specified for the people who actually run the gym.
Front service matters when the wall sits on structure with no rear aisle. Fanless supplies matter because gyms collect dust.
Lighting
Game lighting and PE lighting are not the same. The wall has to read in both. We operate PROLUX Rugged around 2,100 nits and coordinate lighting scenes when the room has control.
Sound
Horn, PA, and program audio belong with the scoreboard path. We specify or integrate them so a timeout look includes sound, not only video.
Control
Coaches, table crew, and facilities staff use one operator path for score, video, audio, and lights. LUXVISION typically uses NovaStar processing. We size the controller to the pixel map and train operators at commissioning.
How we deliver the project
We start with the room: dimensions, viewing distance, how it is used, structure, power, and whether audio, lighting, and live video are in the project. Then design documents, coordination with the facilities team, installation, commissioning, and operator training. Spare modules stay on site so a failed cabinet is swapped, not left dark.

Current PROLUX Rugged warranty context is 7 years, including impact from air-inflated sports balls over 6 inches in diameter, subject to manufacturer terms.
Full front service
Modules, cabling, and feeder access are designed from the front. That is required when a gym display is mounted tight to a wall with no rear aisle.
Fanless thermal design
Gyms collect dust. Fans ingest that dust and then fail. PROLUX Rugged uses the cabinet as a heat sink with Mean Well supplies. There is no cooling fan in the documented architecture.
Under-driven, efficient LEDs
Pixels capable of about 3,900 nits are operated around 2,100 nits. The intent is less heat and less electrical infrastructure than driving the diodes to their maximum.
Repairable hardware
Locking power and data cables replace hub boards. Neutrik-style power and Cat6 keystone data keep field repairs inside normal technician practice.

Questions
Does basketball impact void the warranty?
Air-inflated sports-ball impact is part of the current 7-year PROLUX Rugged warranty context. Hard objects and vandalism are not the same thing.
Can this wall sit behind the baseline?
Yes, when structure and viewing distance allow. Front service is part of the architecture. We survey before we specify mount height and size.
Do you specify shot clocks with the wall?
Timing can be integrated into the processor path. Tell us the sports and the operator workflow in the inquiry.
Is this a center-hung arena product?
No. This is an indoor gym and field-house wall. Center-hung bowls are a different conversation.
