Speech, presentation, and meeting audio
Sennheiser manufactures microphones, wireless systems, meeting and conference products, monitoring equipment, and assistive listening solutions. XL AV evaluates its professional products for classrooms, boardrooms, worship spaces, and performance venues.
The application determines microphone format and pickup requirements. A ceiling microphone system needs a room layout and acoustic review; a presenter microphone needs appropriate positioning and wireless coverage; live production may require several microphone and monitor channels operating together.
Wireless coverage and installed signal paths
We plan receivers, antennas, RF coordination, microphone connections, and battery procedures for the selected equipment. Frequency bands and coordination are reviewed for the location and the number of simultaneous systems. Coverage testing includes the presenter areas identified in the design.
For installed meeting audio, we verify the microphone interfaces and processing requirements, then configure routing, muting, and conferencing connections. Microphone pickup, local reinforcement, and remote participant audio are checked as separate functions of the completed system.
Information needed for selection
Provide room drawings, expected presenter movement, the number of wireless channels, and any existing RF equipment. For meeting rooms, include seating arrangements, ceiling construction, and the conferencing platform. Discuss assistive listening requirements early so coverage, user devices, and operational responsibilities can be included in the scope.
