Live production and installed event mixing

Midas develops professional mixing systems and associated software for live sound workflows. XL AV evaluates console capacity, stage connections, monitor requirements, and recording or streaming needs for worship spaces, theatres, and event venues.

Selection includes the physical operating surface and the complete I/O arrangement. Console and stage-box compatibility, supported sample rates, expansion interfaces, and firmware requirements are checked for the exact equipment combination.

Connecting the console to the venue

We plan input patching, stage boxes, house loudspeaker outputs, stage monitor mixes, and independent recording feeds. The installed DSP remains coordinated with the console so loudspeaker alignment and protection settings are preserved during event mixing.

Configuration includes channel naming, routing, gain structure, scene organisation, and recall behaviour. Where visiting engineers will use the system, we define connection points and document the house patch. Recording and playback interfaces are verified against the required channel count and format.

Operator preparation

Provide typical event input lists, the largest expected production, and details of the people operating the console. XL AV develops starting configurations and training around those workflows. Scene backups and documented output assignments help staff restore an approved setup after event-specific changes.
