Show control for programmed venues

MA Lighting supplies grandMA3 lighting control systems and network products for programmed shows and venues. XL AV evaluates console, processing, and output requirements for theatres, worship spaces, and event facilities with production lighting.

The design depends on fixture count and parameters, show complexity, operator positions, and whether visiting productions need access to the house system. Console size alone does not define the required processing and network capacity.

Fixture patch, network, and show files

We coordinate fixture patching, DMX universes, network output, nodes, and supported protocols for the specified system. Software versions, fixture profiles, and system compatibility are checked before commissioning. The network design accounts for production requirements and IT boundaries.

XL AV establishes fixture labels, groups, presets, and routine cues within the programming scope. Handoff can include patch schedules, show-file backups, and operating instructions. Any backup control or redundancy arrangement must be defined and tested as part of the design.

Production and staff requirements

Provide a fixture inventory, stage layout, event schedule, and operator experience. Discuss visiting programmer workflows and connections to room presets early. Where lighting accompanies a LUXVISION LED display, scene levels and camera exposure are coordinated with the display and video system.
