Electro-Voice offers installed and portable sound reinforcement products, including loudspeakers and subwoofers. Its installed range includes products for distributed commercial sound and larger audience areas. XL AV selects the loudspeaker format according to room use, coverage, and mounting constraints.

Ceiling and surface-mount systems can serve background music and announcements, while higher-output systems may be appropriate for worship, gymnasiums, and live events. Music requirements may add subwoofers and dedicated amplifier or processing channels.

Matching the loudspeaker system to the room

We review coverage angles, spacing, output requirements, and amplifier loading. Weather resistance is checked against the exact model and installation conditions where an exposed location is proposed. A product family name alone does not establish suitability for every environment.

XL AV coordinates mounting, cabling, source routing, and DSP settings. Commissioning includes polarity and level checks, equalization, delay alignment where required, and listening at representative positions. The selected loudspeaker and amplifier combination determines protection settings.

Upgrading an existing sound system

Supply the installed loudspeaker and amplifier model numbers, room dimensions, and current problems. We assess coverage and signal processing alongside equipment condition. Reusing equipment depends on its suitability for the revised design, available documentation, and the required performance.
