Selection starts with the source and destination formats, resolution, frame rate, connector types, audio requirements, and timing. Model capabilities are reviewed for the actual conversion rather than assuming that every adapter supports every signal format.
Signal path and commissioning
We plan converter locations, power, cable routes, audio embedding or extraction where supported, and connections into production equipment. Synchronization requirements are defined with the video system design.
Commissioning checks the intended formats, image framing, audio channels, and timing at the final destinations. Provide camera, switcher, recorder, and display model numbers alongside the desired workflow so compatibility can be checked before equipment is selected.
